I'm Hanfu Liu.

I graduated from University of Waterloo in 2022 with a degree in Mathematics and spent 3+ years building data pipelines, orchestrating workflows, and solving data problems in the real world. My motivation has always been simple: build solutions that actually solve real-life problems—not just theoretically elegant ones, but things people can use and benefit from.

Then the AI era hit, and suddenly I realized I could build so much more and solve problems I never thought possible. It's like going from having a toolbox to having a whole workshop. The possibilities are endless, and honestly, it's the most exciting time to be building.

But here's what I've learned: my biggest strength isn't just writing code—it's figuring out what people actually need. Half the time, the real problem is totally different from the initial ask. I love that moment when it clicks, when they realize what they truly want. Because when you build something that solves the real problem? That's when it gets fun.
